I knew that guess I just had a mental lapse there. But, now it doesn't matter because I will never consume more than a the taste of this stuff I endured for writing this post. Andy, good call. When converting that to gin strength, you actually get more like 2.5-3 oz worth of gin-strength spirits in the can, which while still not a good deal by your description of how it tastes, is about what you'd pay for a 375 ml bottle of good gin (4 cans x 3 oz ea = just under 375 ml). So I guess you can say it still gets you blitzed, which is, I would imagine, the primary goal of most people who would buy premade gin and tonic. Blank and Tonics are the easiest things to mix, aside from a straight spirit. I usually find myself avoiding them, despite being a great summer drink, simply because they're so easy -- it feels like cheating. On the other hand, I've always wanted to try the Campari Soda they sell in Italy, so maybe I'm being hypocritical. That’s so funny and depressing.
