And this FINE menus structure makes the consumer want to read same, and order a cocktail, again, again and again. Thank you, gentlemen. Good stuff! It is well known to be Doc Holliday's drink of choice. Bought a bottle before I left town....$11.49 for a fifth. Just had my first few shots of this in Tombstone, AZ, last week. This list was a great help. Thank you. Also, there were a few good recipes on imbibe's website—for example http://www.imbibemagazine.com/Recipe-Absinthe-minded-Professor—and in Chris Gall's "The PDT Cocktail Book". Rye didn't get no respect. So that bottle of Old Overholt from the 1940's or 50's may very well be pre-prohibition stuff. My first bottle? Purchased in Santa Fe in 1986. I remember buying a bottle of OO and one of Wild Turkey Rye. Each had it's own merit. The Wild Turkey was smooth, but the OO had character that the Turkey lacked.
